I did a quick look! Not sure where it is. I need to put it up on lift tonight after work.
Plugs into the spot labeled [1]. Unplug and plug this in. It will give a ground trigger.
You will need to provide 12v positive. Hook up as normal and the light should come on when in reverse.
Like the Pioneer, I expect it to give a false, low volt positive if you meter it.
It will ONLY be a true ground when in Reverse.
Chosen light should NOT have an internal ground. Such as the ridged chase light.
Another method is to use it for a negative triggered relay if needed.

OK your adapter works as advertised!!!
Its a Bit@# to get to from the side. I took part of the skid plate bolts to help with access. May be easier to get to from inside the cab.
Heres a few pictures.

Easier to get to if you take center cup holders out and remove driver seat and the rubber in the corner by the driver seat belt catch

@wrighteous @ hondsxs and I discuss the light location that you show also. Do you think the heat will effect it?

I had the light mounted before Takeover and ran it off switchpro heat is not a problem
the oem plastic parts around it dont even get hot

I have over 100 miles with no problem even at idle for 20 min no prob
The heat shield on this thing work as designed

What is the difference in the Plug and Play wiring kit vs the other one available on this site? I ordered the Plug and Play kit and I want to make sure I install it properly (or even if I ordered the right thing.) I am happy to do a video of the installation -as long as I can figure out what I am doing. :)

They both are Plug-N-Play. Meaning you do not need to cut/splice any wires to get the ground trigger.
The difference is...
Ground Trigger Only
- This is just a single ground wire. It is good for whatever you wish. Such as controlling a relay or to use as the ON trigger for a light.

Trigger W/ Pigtails.
- This kit has + and - Pigtails ready for your small draw accessory. With this kit you just need to provide key-on positive 12v power to the single red lead. So, if you supply 12v to the red wire. Wire up the +&- to your light. Then when you hit R it will come on.

Both do the same. Just we added an additional step to the Pigtail unit that you won't have to figure out on your own.

Looking at them after your question. I need to add Plug-N-Play to the first image too.

YES, I need some good instructions. I have all the above but nothing step by step.
Videos are great but images and text directions are good too.
Thanks.

Adding a video I made to this thread in case people need to reference it. This video is for the harness with the pigtail and 12V key-on lead:

Not really. Outside installing your own trigger switch somewhere.

To use the rigid. You must use a relay to turn the negative trigger into a positive trigger.
