Talon SE lightbar bracket fix

Hi All, just wanted to share those with the 2 seater SE's (and probably the 4 seater as well) might want to get a little longer screws for your lightbar bracket. During some regular trail riding early on my light bar fell off. Upon inspection, it looks like they used screws that were too short for the die cast aluminum pieces which caused them tear out. I did not take the issue to Honda as I wanted a permanent fix and felt they would try and use the same parts again.

I went the path of creating new brackets from steel and longer screws and it's been solid for me ever since.

Don't know the exact setup on the Talon but this has been a known problem for yrs on all light bars. Running a threaded rod between the two brackets solves the problem for good. Not real pretty but it works.
