P1000 Talon Seat Conversion

There has been a few threads about bucket seat conversions for the P1k and I figured id show what ive been working on. I was able to install the factory talon seats with no modifications to the machine and retaining factory seat belts. Rider position is very close to the factory height.

Right, and they do get a pretty penny for their seat. But it is understandable for the quality you get.

The seats are most of the hard cost of the kit

I dont believe it will be hotter, as it retains the factory rubber parts and covers them with metal!

Or you could look at that you are getting a free cooking griddle with each purchase. Eggs and sausage anyone?

Don't get me wrong I almost bought a General because I wanted the bucket seats. It just concerns me that all of the new exposed metal flat plate laid on top of Hondas rubber condom heat answer is going to act like a big heat transfer plate. At least the factory bench seat is full of foam across the entire cabin width which helps mitigate the engine heat some. I still added a high temp heat blanket under the seat and it made a huge difference. That could also be done with your seat mod and Honda should be doing it from the factory, IMO.

No idea but I got talon seats I would sell since I got another machine.

i've been watching facebook marketplace and c/l for a set of talon seats to replace my rzr seats in my mod.no luck so far.shipping will be a huge problem or i'd grab them right now.

Yeah they should of just made the mounts and let the customer buy seats.

He never made these and appears went out of business. I was able to fab my own of sorts using talon seats.
