Heading up to Taylor Park Colorado this weekend (Wed-Monday) for a 5 day weekend. Camping, riding, fishing, maybe a little shooting. Wondering if there are any other Pioneer guys going to be in the area, we will be camping between the Trading Post and Tincup. Will be with a bunch of Rzrs, but no worries, the Honda will stand out and they will all be left wanting one after the weekend. Short wheel base, engine brake, 1000 ccs, power, have already gotten me places the rzr wont go or gets hung up on. Rzr a great machine, don't get me wrong, and the Honda has a few quirks, (they all do, Polaris, Can Am, Artic Kitty, all of them) but overall this summer, extremely happy I have the Honda, going on 500 miles, has never let me down yet, will probably add another 3-400 miles this weekend alone. Will post pics and stories.

Have a great Labor Day weekend all, be safe, and take those Hondas out to play!

Taylor Park/Tincup/St Elmo Colorado Labor Day Weekend 2016. Camped by Tincup, CO, rode about 340 miles over 5 days mostly with a couple other Rzr's. Honda was great, only thing that happened was the radiator coolant overflow tank broke off (how, I don't know, rock must have gotten up there, but I was able to retrieve it and will re-mount it). Many miles of extremely rocky trails, some fairly deep streams (maybe 2-2 1/2' deep) some steep climbs, some off camber, some with a pretty good pucker factor, great scenery, several miles above 12,000 ft, up to 13,000 ft, most around 10-11,000 ft, plenty of rain/mud to play in, some wide open roads (got her up to 68 mph, my fastest on the Honda). Used the manual paddle shift in low and high a lot, was flawless. Saw only two other Pioneers, one pulling a massive amount of wood on a tandem trailer, had to be well over 1000 lbs, but he was doing it), 100s of rzrs, a few Teryx's, many Can Ams, a few Artic Cats, couple of Yamaha yxz's, 100s of atvs (all makes). Great weekend!!

Have you done any modifications like extending vent lines or snorkel in order to accommodate 2 1/2foot water??
The weakest thing I think I read in the book on my pioneer was the lame 10 inch water specifications.....

Hey Tram I would def go here. Tons of riding - I didn't see 20% of it.. Tons of free camping as well - way more than Silverton IMO. I don't do rv parks if I can avoid it..
