P500 Thank You Forum

So I just purchased the farm I grew up on in PA. I live in Austin Texas and am moving there soon with my fiancé. Just want to say thanks to this forum and its members for helping me decide on the p500. I look at the builds, discussions, and most of all, peoples opinions. I arrive in PA 14 Sep and have a Green p500 leftover waiting for me at my local dealer. Got it for 8500.00 OTD which I thought was great. After the tires wear out I will be going with 25" or 26" big horns all the way around.
I have been a member of many forums and I must say this is one of the most respectable places I have seen. I know we don't have the 45k members yet but it would be nice to keep it classy. I look forward to the adventures ahead. Pictures to come once I get to exploring. Thanks for all the motivation.

Hey Adam congratulations on the big purchase!! What will you be growing/raising out there? I raise cattle and grow hay and I have found the pioneer to be a HUGE asset on the ranch! How did we ever get by without these things??

We raised many beef cows when I was younger and also grew the hay, corn, and oats to feed them. We still have a few but I think we will have many pet animals and perhaps get into niche farming. Focusing on growing blackberries and raspberries then getting local contracts with stores. Kinda like HEB does in Texas. I just want to be free again and far away from traffic and peoples opinions

I'm glad the club was able to help you decide on a P500. I tell you what, these guys wouldn't trade them for the world. They almost have me talked into getting one too. lol.

As for the forum, its the members that deserve the thanks. All I have done is provided them a place to chat. You hit the nail on the head with that one word. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Though we have has some characters come and go, overall we all understand what that means and get along great.

As for the 45k members... Oh man... Buckle your seat belt, once the P1k gets cut loose I expect things to start jumping fairly quick. You going to hang around for the ride, RIGHT?

I just sold this to get the P500 so holding on should be easier ;-) I miss it, but it is time to worry about starting a family and not having the fiancé worry about me. Still got a Harley and a bobber but will forever miss the 600rr
