John and all, I am intending on arriving at the trailhead Saturday afternoon with my toy hauler so I won’t be late for Sunday morning departure 😁 Since I would have to unhitch to come into town I will pass on dinner

I wouldn’t think that it’s any problem for you to camp overnight at the trailhead, however, a kiosk was recently installed with trail information and rules. When you arrive, I suppose that you’ll have to make a decision then of what to do if it says no overnight camping….🤔

A better bet may be to leave your camper coupled to your truck and just stay the night on or near our motel parking, have dinner with us, and then go to the trailhead Sunday morning. Rendezvous is at 11:00 am and you should be fine…????

I have been wondering about fire bans as far a cooking goes….. manti lasal forest just says moderate fire conditions… so I assume they are allowed

What I read , we are fine in Colorado but when we cross into Utah it's propane cooking only.

Anyone running a solid full windshield without a windshield wiper? I think I remember seeing that you are not suppose to use Rainx on poly windshields, so carry a squeegee or a rag and reach around when needed?

Oh boy, there’s so many opinions about this. I’ve seen guys on the forum say they’ve used rain x for years with no issues whatsoever. I will say that monsoon season is over and we’ll probably not hit rain, if we do though, it’ll be a shower, 30 minutes or an hour. I’d imagine we’d just stop and let it pass….🤔
