The Getaway: 07-07-24

We got everything loaded up and headed to Drummond Island Michigan for our annual trip. We got to take my brother for his first time up there. We had my sister in law and her official husband. We had a blast. We rode around and fished almost daily for two weeks. We hired a fishing tour and caught salmon and trout. My brother almost flopped the Teryx4 in a mud hole. At the edge of the drop off where the drivers tire was I reached down to my shoulder and never felt ground underwater. The Teryx4 and Pioneer both went down and up Marblehead. We hope to bring my other brother next year. We bought a boat while we were up there and brought it home to MO. So the big van did not get a towing break this year :p Overall we all had a blast.

Technically The Loop 2 :p we took the Teryx and Pioneer out to the Loop 2 in MO. I didn't get alot of pictures. It was my Dad and Mom's first time in the side by sides. They had a blast. Overall the Teryx did great and did not disappoint one bit.

I had a chore I needed to do and thought it would be fun to use the Teryx. It is the heaviest load to date for the Teryx. I was really curious to see how I would perform. I need to put away the derby car. Which is basically pulling it into the woods out of sight until next year. I wrapped a strap around the rear window frame on the Buick and hooked the other end to the Tusk spare tire carrier on the Teryx. I thought it would make a good test for both. I put the machine in Low and twisted the 4x4 knob and very easily pulled the car into the woods, about 300 yards in total.
