I used Southern Honda in Chattanooga. $10,998 plus a $60 tax put the door for a 2020 700-4. I got the roof and windshield so it was right at $12,100 total OTD. No fees of any kind.

It’s amazing to me the great deals back east and the south.I think I’m doing good w my negotiations getting a couple grand off.Then I see some of the prices posted on various machines like the 1000 deluxe s and even the krx’s,and it almost makes me puke,or at least start drinking!

If you did your research, negotiated on the price, and it was fair at the time, don't even worry about it. There are so many factors in negotiating and, as the buyer, you don't see them all. It's like playing poker. Your skill in negotiating is only part of it:
  • How bad does that salesman need that sale?
  • What's the minimum amount of profit the dealer needs on that sale?
  • How popular is the product at the time?
If You know your deal was fair when it was struck, there's no reason to feel like you missed out when you see somebody else got a "better deal" because you weren't in that situation.
Now if you got ripped off that's a whole different conversation...

The purpose of threads like this is just to help others so they can negotiate wisely, and also get a good deal.

I'm not angry and I do apologize if I've upset anyone. Like I said before I'm grateful just for the opportunity to speak about having a Pioneer. There are a lot of people that have bigger problems than what we all paid for our sxs. So let's all enjoy our group and give each other advise on making a good build and enjoy life and our rides with our family.

2021 1000-5PM, 48 month warranty, roof, and windshield installed - $21502.74 OTD including 7% tax from Honda of Sanford N.C.

Only one I could find within 60 miles the week I was looking that did not already have a deposit down on it. Lucky it was the green that I wanted!
