Can anyone tell me the better tire size for 2021 talon 1000r? 32x10x15 of 30x10x15. I am going to put new tires on and don't want to go too big or too small. Thanks

Depends on what kind of riding you do. I run a 34/9.50/15 TSL in East Tennessee works great for me.
Them are some big boys!

Was gonna tell him that's a loaded question🤣
But folks have been testy today lol

u need to post pictures……we like pictures

Search up top on this - u will get both sides on which is best

depends if you like felt power loss and power steering loss…….

32”s are more problematic to power steering issues and just physics on turning more rotational mass…..

if that 1” of ground clearance is critical go with the 32’s

I went with a rounded profile 30” , so far so good

@Lil_Steve rides in AZ and has used both 30" and 32". It seems the 32's took away a lot of the 'fun' for that extra inch of clearance. I run 30's but also ride at extreme altitudes, over 13k at times; I couldn't turn 32's up here. I have the 1/2" Trail Armor skid and just slide over things 'n sh!t I don't clear.

There's a sticky in the General Talon 1000 Discussion forum with some basic Talon information if you haven't seen it - New Talon Owners - First Things to Know and Check. It's also linked in my sig below.

30's are a good compromise between a little more ground clearance and a little loss of power, since I'm very likely to encounter rockier terrain, my choice is to stay with 32's.

Here's a visual comparison between my Talon R on the left (32" tires), and @CID 's Talon R on the right (30" tires). As you can see, it's not a dramatic difference.

But if you prefer a little more ground clearance while giving up a little performance, the 32's work well. I don't know what @CID is talking about with regard to giving up a lot of "fun" for the extra inch, me and my extra inch have plenty of fun. 😉 I will say that the higher in elevation you ride, the more noticeable the drop in power is with the 32's.

But whether I have an extra inch, or an extra 6 inches (of ground clearance), I'll always manage to have fun!

Thanks for the info, I'm in parker Az. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 30's. Hope you didn't damage your buggy too bad. Looks like fun up until that point

Those 32's are Tusk Terrabites, I found the sidewalls a little soft for the jagged rocks I've encountered, my current tires are 32" BFG KM3's UTV tire. I believe @CID is currently running 30" BFG K02's LT tire? The LT tires are a little heavier but cost less than UTV specific tires.
