I’ve been using Quad Boss tire sealant these past two years.

I've carried a plug kit and small bottle of Slime in the box since I bought the machine. Wouldn't put it in there unless I had a tire issue on the trail and needed it in a pinch though. As stated, when you break that tire down, what a mess!
Yeah I agree on the mess, but I don’t care, it’s got me out of a few pickles, and somebody else changes the tire down the road....;):D

And how has that been working? HA!
AH! I failed to mention that when I installed the last new set of BH’s, I did not have any in them at the takeover.

I use Berryman tire sealant. Honey locust is hell on tires. Love that stuff.

2014 I had a stick run through my Rancher tire and break off. I didnt notice it until it got on the black top. The berryman sealant and come out and sealed the stick. Made alot of noice but the tire stayed up the 5 miles home.

Test #1.
Takes about a week to leak down to the level shown.

I put 3/4 of a bottle in all 4 tires. Then did about 1 mile of ride time.

So I’ve added half a bottle to the mower and half a bottle to the kids gator.. and it’s worked great stopping the medium to slow leaks... I’m going to add half a bottle on each corner of the sxs for some preventative measures.

You might need to pull the wheel and lay it on it's face overnight for the sealant to work it's way around the repair. If you are feeling lazy, park the machine with the plug at the lowest point, then when it loses air, the plug will sit in the puddle of sealant hopefully sealing it.
If this works for you, I might try to save the Terrabites on mine with this stuff.

I carry a blackjack tire plug repair kit, a small Honda 12 volt compressor and a couple of cans of slime. Never needed it yet for myself but have helped many others out of a jamb.
