Anyone have any good suggestions on a quality cold flex 7 way RV cord?

I’m sick and tired of having to deal with stiff trailer cords in cold weather. I’m ready to rip them all off.

The ideal cord for me would be one that the end is molded on.

I am planning on trying this when I add axles to my trailer.

Bought a new 20’ trailer Thursday to accommodate both my pioneer and my soon to own Talon.

Yesterday did my first mod to it. E-track the full length of the trailer split between the width of Talon and Pioneer.

track seems like it would get full of mud/ice and the tires are always the grubbiest part right after you ride. just put some heavy weld in stake pockets in so i have an easy place to tie to and run it threw a wheel or frame. never had one come loose.

I am thinking of going with Erickson 09160 Wheel Chock Tie-Down Kit . I would use the E-Track but since I have a 10' trailer I am not sure if I need it since the SXS fits right in place.. I guess I could see it for hauling other items and having a way to secure that load..

E track will be more versatile.
Erickson sells wheel chocks that clip into the E track. Might be a little more $ upfront for everything. But will allow better access to trailer floor in the future.

Hi There: I hadn't seen the wheel chocks except in a kit. Went on Amazon and found them for nearly $20 each. Went on ebay and found weld on E track fittings 10 for $18. Now I'll make my own wheel chocks!!!

Some time if I find the time I'll post photos of my home made 8' x 14' flat bed with torsion axle. I can get both my 1000-5 and my Grizzly on it.

Not really a mod, but I did a little decorating today. With all the rain and crap we've had the last few weeks, my new home built trailer is a mess, but I've been wanting to put the stickers on, so today seemed like a good time to do it, between showers.

Nicely done! @trigger I just picked up an enclosed trailer myself and was looking for some "rubberized" tire tracking to put down where I drive in and park...like you did. Would you mind sharing what you used and where you found it?

Towing is such a drag...I use Ericcson strap downs on all 4 corners. I also bolted and welded a Lowe's JOBOX in the front along with 4 jerry can holders mounted horizontal. I use the JOBOX to haul all my extra gear I use for remote camping like my Honda generator, recovery gear etc. I wanted something secure to leave on my trailer when it's parked to ride. I also like to have a few other things secure since the trailer isn't a cargo box.

Bought a new Summit 10'x7' utility trailer last Summer when I bought the P500.

Stained the deck and added 4 floor tie-downs...

Then added pickup bed ladder rack to the front I had laying around, flipped the axle and installed 29" Goodyear Wrangler AT tires...
