Home made toy hauler with sleeping room.. Nicely done!Since mine is a utility trailer I am hoping others have installed some kind of custom tool box or service work lighting to get a few ideas from.

I laid 4 coats of battle ship gray porch paint with grit in it on the floor and ramp door of my 7x14 enclosed trailer, and 4 coats of white porch paint on the walls. I sealed all the floor joints before painting.

Pics below have 3 seasons on the paint.

On the walls I placed 5’ sections of etrack on the walls at 2.5’ and at 5’ from the floor on the entire perimeter excluding the rear door. On the floor I mounted etrack 4’ apart centered for the length of the trailer floor.

I have quite a bit of coin into the etrack, but the trailer can haul and move anything.

The floor paint has held up really well after three years. I simply hose out the trailer periodically.

i recently purchased a used and damaged 2010 ATP 22' enclosed trailer that was custom built for a company out of arizona. the trailer was damaged from overloading for so many years which included broken aluminum frame between the axles on passenger side. almost all of the welds along the frame on both sides were cracked, also they had hit a deer with it pulling through lousiana and crushed the side door and front end of the trailer. i have the original bill of sale which shows all of the extras added and total of 25K for the trailer.(Too rich for me) i purchased for $4,500.00 from the individual that had gotten it from original owner. with so much damage he was unable to find a repair shop to fix it for a decent price. (under 5K). As it happens that my oldest son works for his mothers family in a fabrication shop i was able to get the family discount and the door was reskinned, pulled out floor and cut out all of the broken and weakened aluminum frame and replaced. all the cross beams had gussets added for extra strength, everything underneath was completely rewelded and new floor installed with cargo airplane tiedown tracks that are flush with the floor. added a rubber floor material glued to the floor. the outside has two floodlights on the side that are flush with the walls, put in an alarm system, backup camera and floodlights on the rear above the door for backing in at night. total for repairs and add ons, $1,650.00. Real nice family discount for sure.. so here is the damage, repair and pics of the extras.

How are you securing your SXS TH?
I put E-Track down and bought straps and rings from HF so I could secure about anything.
5 ft. Horizontal E-Track
2 in. x 16 ft. E-Track Tie Down Strap
E-Track Ring

I like this system because I secure it to the trailer with the tires instead of compressing the suspension.
The only problem I found is that the holes on the e-track aren't drilled on 2 inch centers like the description says. I had to drill a couple of holes to hit my stringers which are on 16 inch centers.

I am thinking of going with Erickson 09160 Wheel Chock Tie-Down Kit . I would use the E-Track but since I have a 10' trailer I am not sure if I need it since the SXS fits right in place.. I guess I could see it for hauling other items and having a way to secure that load..

E track will be more versatile.
Erickson sells wheel chocks that clip into the E track. Might be a little more $ upfront for everything. But will allow better access to trailer floor in the future.

track seems like it would get full of mud/ice and the tires are always the grubbiest part right after you ride. just put some heavy weld in stake pockets in so i have an easy place to tie to and run it threw a wheel or frame. never had one come loose.

Thanks mjn! 2x2 framing and 1/2" ply, built around the tool cabinet. Wrapped it in diamond plate, trimmed out with aluminum flat stock and had a stainless top made for it.

I’ve gotta tell ya man, that looks pro!
How did u do the upper cabinet?

Thanks man, it took a while to do and if I had to do it again I'd do it different. Trimming it out and trying to make everything flat on diamond plate was a pita! Here's the build thread.

Bought a new 20’ trailer Thursday to accommodate both my pioneer and my soon to own Talon.

Yesterday did my first mod to it. E-track the full length of the trailer split between the width of Talon and Pioneer.
