P500 trailer tongue box

I have one of those Better Built black diamond plate box's on the Toad. Good box but kinda small and actually pricey compared to a chest type box. It would be unique though.

I got one from Harbor Freight ..my only complaint is that the lid "rattles"

More square footage for protected/ waterproof storage got me thinking, ... thinking about a lower profile rectangle box kinda like a mini pickup bed hard top. A “tailgate” access design would still leave the top platform for open cargo carrier or tiedowns to carry other big stuff on top (deer, logs,etc) May tryout a top for my old wooden box that way. Just prefer a lower profile look and not loose the footprint of that big cargo rack. Just ideas here, to each his own.
