We when my son rides with me in my 520, he likes to joke about the built-in air conditioner. It seems as the 520 has a ton of air (cold this time of year) blowing around the reverse lever and under the dash. I mean a crazy amount when cruising down the road. Getting some rubber material from Lowes this week and use my plastic push pin kit to seal it off.

I tried a rubber shifter boot made for a Jeep. Bad idea, rubber too stiff and retains a memory. Never use the reverse so some black gorilla tape works well for that.

I used a rubber roofing material around the pedal area of my 700 and permatex black utv ultra to seal cracks. This was one of the best things I done to my SxS. Now just need something for around the shifters and E Brake.

Do you have a full enclosure? If so, which components did you go with? I have the oem honda roof, super atv flip out windshield and oem honda rear panel. Haven't purchased doors yet.

Keeping in mind that I don't live in a particularly cold clime, and really not being judgy . . . but I sometimes have a difficult time figuring why folks are trying to make a SxS seemingly comparable to an automobile in airtight-ness. Absolutely no offense intended for sure . . .

Keep in mind --ITS COLD OUTSIDE -- some places During winter. UPSTATE N.Y. Being One of Them.
1st. picture is of P700-4 with tracks -- Heater/ Defroster -- Winshield Wiper/Washer -- Honda Seat Covers With Sear Heaters
2nd & 3rd. Pictures 2015 P500's ( NO heat )
4th. Picture 2018 P500 -- use tracks on this one in winter & it has -- Heaer / Defroster -- Windshield Wiper/Washer -- plus rzr bucket seats with Seat Heaters
As the Song goes ( Baby Its Cold Outside ) -- nice to have All the Heat & NO DRAFTS.
If you were to take 1 ride with the Temperature between ( +20° F to -20° F ) after 1st. 100 feet or less the Difficulty Figuring" WHY" WILL BE GONE.
No Offence Taken or Intended.

Doors
2nd & 3rd pictures2015's-- -- double Doorc& & Latch ( OEM P500 Top 1/2 door -- & Retain Bottom OEM door ) Latch on each Door
4th picture 2018 P500 with P 500 doors
5thpicture 2018 P500 HAS the P520 Doors. ( Much BETTER Single Door & Latch System -- plus better overall seal ) the bottom OEM Door is Removed.
FYI: The P520 Doors --"Cost More But Worth it"

I actually didn't do it to keep the cold out, it was the heat. I could feel hot air blowing on my hand from the shifter lever. Made the one for the reverse lever and pedal area due to water dumping in when going through water holes. Doesn't stop it but slows it down.
