Why I chose the NEW Tusk Kevlar Terrabite Tire!
Mostly because I am tired of sidewall damage due to pinch flats. I hope this kevlar tire can hold up at a lower PSI at the faster speed I tend to run. I previously ran a set of Roctaine XS's and put 3 pinches in those with 1 tire completely needing a replacement. Factory BigHorns didn't last my initial weekend run before both fronts had sidewall pinches.

By gosh if that solves your pinch flat problem I may be following you.. I can pinch flat the heck out of some tires.. just got to where I run more pressure in them but still always a little worried.
Looking forward to your review and because I have seen you ride I know they will be tested well

Out of curiosity, what psi are you running? And what kind of terrain to cause all those flats? Hope the new ones work out for you.
I have tried many PSI levels. Most pinches come with lower pressures under 10lb. I started sticking to the specs of 14 and seem to have slowed the pinches down but I still have a few. I usually run fast speeds on rocky trails. That's what will do it. Especially if you are under 14 PSI.

HOW MUCH?

I busted two stock fronts, 3 inch rips, in both, a 1 inch rip in a EFX 8 ply. Went to 30 x 10 x 14 ITP Black Waters, no flats so far. I ride slower than some and faster than most, love the rocks. They do leak around the bead locks slowly. I'm running up graded A arms and shocks. These Pioneer's are great machines but they are no Talon and you can tear them up without having a wreck.

I have the 16 1000-5 delux, I would like to get more ground clearance and new tires. i like the Tusk Kevlar, however, I looked up the super ATV arms you mentioned and it says the max tire size is 28" are you having any issues, like rubbing etc. Thnx,

Thnx for the info. I am newer to the site. I haven't had much time to make some good changes, but that is changing soon. It sounds like the SATV arms are a good way to go. One issue I will have is putting into my cargo trailer, I can do it now if I lower the tire pressure and sit my on the rear, once I'm inside I'm good. My son in-law suggested I look for some super low profile tire to switch out in order to trailer it. has anyone done this or found tires that would work? or have any other suggestion beside buying another trailer LOL. thnx

Is anybody running Pro Armor Crawler XG 30x10x14?

I have the Highlifter A arms that move the axle forward. Still have factory rims 14 x6.5 in front 14x8 in rear. Everything else is stock. Will I need lift or spacer to percent rubbing?

Ok... I'm a newb.... So what are pinches and should I be concerned about them with my P-500 and stock tires at 10psi???? I trail ride but not on trails that are terribly rough...

“Pinches” or “pinch flats” occur when the tire gets pinched between the wheel rim and a hard object (rock, log etc). They usually occur in the tire sidewall (not easily trail repaired). The lower the pressure the softer the tire, the faster you drive the higher the risk. Slow speed driving over moderate terrain with soft tires are not at a high risk. Softer tires make for a comfortable ride, but leave you volnerable in high speed rocky terrain.
