Ive been looking at Tusk terrabite tires in size 28x10x14 for my stock 2016 pioneer 1000-3. I may be using the stock rims ( not sure ). My question is will I have any problems like rubbing or anything else ? Anyone with these tires ? I don't have a lift or want one. Thanks

I have the same yr and model. I have the tusk terrabite 28x10x14 all the way around with ITP Hurricane wheels with a 14X 7 5.0+ 2.0.from Rocky Mountain ATV. They rub little bit if I turn it all the way. I really like the tires a lot.

I have the terabites on 14" STI wheels. I love them. I just had the machine at Hatfield earlier this week. We put 100 on in the rain on Monday and another 70 in dry conditions on Tuesday. They performed awesome! I have zero tire rub and the handling is great. If you plan to use them I. The mud often then you should look into a different tire. I feel like these would be ok in a little mud but anything deep or with a lot of clay you will be in trouble.

Your stock rims are probably 12 inch you will have to buy 4 more if you are going to use 28x10x14's. I have them on mine right now and I like them but they are not the 28" ITP Evos by no means. I can swap back and forth depending on the area I'm going to ride.

Thanks for the pictures that does look good. I do have the 14" wheels with bighorns now so I was concerned about rubbing.

Maybe a stupid question - if I add an 1" in tire size 27 to 28 - I should only add about .5" to overall height correct? I have some clearance constraints with my toy-hauler is why I ask.

They say that some tires actually have a radius/diameter inconstant with the number on the sidewall. Look at some comparison photos posted here and you'll see what I mean.

Yes.. the issue is not all tires run true to size. So when you switch from a 27” stock tire to a 28” terrabite that runs pretty true to size.. you might gain an inch or two due to actual size difference. Obviously, the gain is split in half.
