P1000 Upper doors and tracks

Is it necessary to have upper doors when using tracks? I had a guy tell me that the tracks I just bought will throw snow in the open windows when turning corners. I currently have a windshield, standard lower doors, hard roof and plastic mid-panel, so the only opening I have in the cab is the upper door.

Yes you will want the soft shell uppers imo. The tracks throw a lot of snow.

I ran my first winter on tracks without the front windows and was ok up front but the back collects snow like crazy, made some homemade canvas rear covers helped a lot, got the front windows last winter mostly just to keep some heat in, I didn’t find the fronts that bad for throwing snow, also running full windshield and the rear window

Never looked anywhere else. Bought them when we got the machine. They go on and off easily with 9 screws if I remember correctly in about 15-20 minuets. Only problem we’ve found is the piece of Velcro that fastens the top wears out. Plan on putting a snap on it.

Still looking for upper doors. Honda’s from the dealer look to be at about $449.00, SXS Stuff has a set for $399.00, and Seismik (which look really nice with a third hinge) are $529.99

I know there’s quite a few that have used Honda’s, but does anyone have experience with the other two, or any other brands for that matter??
