The roof adds right at about three inches. I can't measure off of mine though

thanks for the quick response CP. boy 3 inches will make it somewhat tight. how hard is it would you say to remove the top for transport/

If you had a place to store it it's super easy two people could have it off in about two minutes a little harder by yourself
There are no bolts or screws. There are only eight clamps

Stock setup = ~78.5" on concrete floor. It's a bit higher in the back, from the front. 78.5" is at the back.

Thanks everyone. I think I can make 78.5 work. just a little extra effort if not. hopefully closing on a silver one next week..
