P500 Weekend in the Ouachita's

Beautiful! Is that the Cossatot, Little Mo, Caddo, Ouachita? Around Mena maybe? Looks like around Albert Pike area, but I don't recognize any of the crossings. Love that country! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hey cthack, the Cossatot is a beautiful stream as well, but it is south west closer to Mena. We are riding ten miles north of Mt. Ida, about 5 miles north of the Ouachita River. The stream in my pics is Fiddler Creek, just north of Sims Arkansas. I have a lake house on Hamilton in Hot Springs, my buddy in the pic has a cabin on a bluff 100 feet above the Ouachita, outside of Sims, which is where we stay and stage our rides.

Actually, the pic with a small falls and a blue hole is on Rainy Creek, I think. If I'm wrong, TR1 will correct me.

Great spot to ride. Love those mountains. Inspired me to plan a trip to Albert Pike area along the Little Missouri. I will make it happen some time in April.
