This weekend I met with @popeye @CumminsPusher and @Tigermark Along with many friends and family. We all ventured over to the Evans Creek ORV recreational area on the central north western corner of Mount Rainier national Park. Let me start by saying even though the campground was closed, we’ve managed to find a really good spot about a quarter mile south of the park itself where we are rounded up the wagons and had a wonderful time camping. The trails were absolutely amazing. With some trepidation from what Popeye said about something like five people dying up there at different times of the year over the past 15 or 20 years it made the ride a little bit interesting but nonetheless extremely fun and challenging. I think everybody had a great time and got to meet lots of new people. A really really excellent place to ride. You do have to get some kind of silly North West National Forest Service pass Plus I went ahead and got an oh RV print out and I attach to the back of my vehicle. Here are some pictures from the weekend. I have a bunch more on my iPad but right now I don’t have Wi-Fi for it to run. I will post those pictures up later. Feel free guys to add some photos to this thread. It was an amazing weekend.
For some reason I’m having a difficult time uploading photograph so I will post more later.

Tiger and Cummins both had little accidentso_O but with the right parts and teamwork, everybody made it out of the forest alive and mostly one piece...

That’s so awesome. I was worried we had been out to long during the problems and maybe he wasn’t having a good time. You have great kids and so family first it’s cool

I ended up getting a couple of really nasty dents in my rims but after beating them out with screw drivers and a hammer the then used a splitting maul’s edge and a hammer side of my axe to finish the job and it came out great!

I went looking for some Gnome homes and found myself looking into the forest eye of Samsquinch.

Those trails at Evans Creek rocked! If anybody hasn’t ever been there and lives nearby I highly recommend going there it is an immense amount of fun. My P 500 did wonderfully well and did not tip over one single time and it was actually able to get through some pretty challenging situations. Totally awesome place!

Another really cool aspect of it was the fact that we were able to take our side by sides all the way into the national Park where normally you are not allowed to drive such vehicles.

The trails were great. We’d stop in between trails for a break and let the kids play a bit. All gather around any issues and get it handled. I think everyone had a good time. We all stayed together as a group and no bulls*** or bad apples. Was very enjoyable for us. Was about the journey NOT the destination:)

I have a whole bunch more photos, but like I said they’re locked up on my IPad and it’s not cellular, WiFi only. When we were at the lake I had to stick around close to my side-by-side because my dog was in there and dogs are not allowed in any of the back country areas of the national Park system. So I handed my iPad to @popeye ‘s wife and she took a lot of wonderful photographs for me that I look forward to sharing with the rest of you is soon as I have a good Wi-Fi connection.
