@KyGal83 & @futzin I couldn't find the thread on it, but sorry we couldn't make your trail cleanup this weekend. The sad thing about it is we went through that area on Friday and again on Saturday. We had talked about stopping by but life wouldn't let us.

Yeah, I can't find it either.
We rode Friday with a friend of ours, Saturday with another friend and his wife, and Sunday me and @KyGal83 spent some time cutting and clearing. Went through a few tanks of gas and cleared I think 4 1/2 deadfalls. Several more to do I'm sure, but it went well.

On Saturday I got in a hurry and got careless, resulting in a SPIM. Embarrassing, but no harm done.

Today the Forest Service is doing a controlled burn, lots of smoke here at camp.

I enjoy running a saw, but some of these trunks I'm not sure I'm comfortable attacking with one saw. Not sure I'm experienced enough not to pinch it. Really trying to avoid dozing new trails/braids/bypasses, but . . .

I like cutting through the deadfalls, I can somewhat choose how narrow a path to make!
