Finally got tired of the red. It was time to change the color. Bought some raptor liner and got busy. Assembled it this morning. Had a few issues til I found the right gun and settings. Finish is a little rough but it isn't a Ferarri. 🤣🤣🤣

Added Erickson claulks to the trailer. Had to do some maneuvering get the back tires square in the chaulks buts it's doable. I'll get better with more practice. @ PJon forgot and did the first try in turf mode found out real quick what you were talking about. Much better out come in 2wd and 4wd. And yes, i did close the windsheild before i went for the test tow. Lol

I'm about to do the same. Did you add a plate on the under side of your deck and use bolts or did you just use lag bolts into the deck?

I used the plates @ RobSparre used in his trailer video. There e trac backing plates. You'll have to cut them and drill some extra holes. The bolts that come with the plates are 2" it would be better if they were 2 1/2 " I used a flat washer and a nylon lock nut. If you go this route beware there are not enough bolts for 8 chaulks.. I think I had to get 10 2" bolts and 3 2 1/2" bolts cause I had to drill through some braces.

Mine is looking too clean lately. More polish than ride, but I'm going to find time to brake that trend.
Nice buggy btw.

After muck anticipation I added a swing away tire carrier. The only problem is the spare won't fit cause it's a 28x10x24 and the rack was made for a stock pioneer front tire.

I was told I'd have to add a 2" spacer to get the tire to fit. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had this dilemma. If indeed someone has had to use a spacer and knows where you can purchase just one let me know. Or if some one has one they want to sell I'm all ears I really don't need to buy two if I don't have to.20220608 10342320220608 103414

Too difficult to make longer studs? There are some cheaper options on Amazon for aluminum spacers

I just recently did the same on my rack for my new spare tire. The bolts were a b**** to find the right thread pitch, 12 mm dia. x 1.25 mm pitch x 70 mm length worked.
I had to buy them from Morris Offroad. They are for Jeep leaf spring mount bushings...
I ll try to recreate the link.

We thought of longer studs. The tire hits the cross bar before it flushes up with the mounting plate. We thought of adding 2" bushings to each stud but when we figured out we'd need 4.5" bolts we couldn't find any that have threads all the way. The studs have to go through a welded nut on the back side of the mounting plate.

That would be great if you could send me a link. The biggest I could fine looking around was 12x1.5x130 and they weren't threaded all the way.
