I know when I order from the US they always give me a ridiculous ETA. Usually shows up sooner. Hope you get them faster than what they say.Woo Hoo!! got notice today that my Elka's are shipping... trouble is, estimate arrival, SEPT 14!!! Wonder what's up with that??? I know they gotta cross the border, but ain't nobody in Brandon's administration stopping nuthin' comin' cross da border... Heck, they could bring 'em on a bicycle and get 'em to Texas by Sept. 14!!
I sure hope you are right‼️👍I know when I order from the US they always give me a ridiculous ETA. Usually shows up sooner. Hope you get them faster than what they say.
I personally not a big fan of the Hillybilly Brake. With storage nets above hard to see it engaged and when I think it is using my feet when I get out and look it usually isn’t. So typically I have to use my hands to engage it! I guess having big feet are a hindrance! Lol
If it's over $ 2,000.00, expect a call from the border wanting excise tax paid, if they are coming directly from Canada. If they are coming from California the tax is ready included in the purchase price. White Grease is your friend.Agreed. It's tough to reach, you can't see it and after a couple years it barely slides.
I had a better idea for brake force and access but it didn't auto release. The auto release still sucks on the hill billy brake.
I ordered them from Commiefornia so hopefully I won’t get them held hostage fro ransome‼️🤬If it's over $ 2,000.00, expect a call from the border wanting excise tax paid, if they are coming directly from Canada. White grease collects mud and dust. Brake clean and silicone lube works so-so.White Grease is your friend.
Back in 17 when I got my Stage 5's, every thing was shipped out of Canada from Elka, by the time I paid excise tax and AR. tax, the shocks cost me a little over $ 3,000.00. Hope you fared better than I. Which shocks did you get?I ordered them from Commiefornia so hopefully I won’t get them held hostage fro ransome‼️🤬
You have dust / mud in your cab? Get the Trigger Shield, prevents mud and dust! HA! I'm just being a DA! Really I haven't had issues with the brake, but I normally only use it while trailering and I use very little white grease when I lube. I really like my brake. It hasn't been out very long and I'm sure improvements will be made at some point.White grease collects mud and dust. Brake clean and silicone lube works so-so.
I have had mine for 4000 miles on this pioneer and 1000ish on the last one. It barely strokes enough to lock on and it takes a tap to release. I should probably remove it again and clean it but the metal on metal design really hates corrosionYou have dust / mud in your cab? Get the Trigger Shield, prevents mud and dust! HA! You know the one thing Honda has grossly over looked is a E hand brake for the P1's like the P7's?I have had mine for 4000 miles on this pioneer and 1000ish on the last one. Wholly agree. Parking on an incline, I'd rather have the weight on the brakes versus the tranny. You know the one thing Honda has grossly over looked is a E hand brake for the P1's like the P7's?
This is true and the only hard part of Michigan street legal statusYou know the one thing Honda has grossly over looked is a E hand brake for the P1's like the P7's?
Stage 2’s. Just looking to improve the ride while on the farm and hunting. No serious trail riding for me.Back in 17 when I got my Stage 5's, every thing was shipped out of Canada from Elka, by the time I paid excise tax and AR. tax, the shocks cost me a little over $ 3,000.00. Stage 2s will be nice. Elka makes a great product. Their shock bushings don't seal well and the heims aren't super but when they are new they ride greatStage 2’s. Just looking to improve the ride while on the farm and hunting. No serious trail riding for me.
