I copied an idea from an old heat thread. Window shade from Walmart, cut to fit.
I also have sound deadening foil insulation underneath.
It helps a bit if you run it up the back rest.
Adding a blower helps too, but not a total heat fix, but tolerable.

well,i finally got a call from the shop.my tie rod boot finally showed and it's all back together.the shop is trying to get it all covered by my warranty,no promises apparently, but they are trying.picking it up tomorrow.my grandkids are up here for a summer visit and keep asking when i'm getting my "tractor thing" back.they're super jacked to go for a rip.in the mean time they are stuck swimming, boating, kayaking and generally playing with all the yard games.life is so hard for them. 🤣

How is the fire and smoke situation? Settling down I hope.

it's still the same as it was a week ago.it was a beautiful day yesterday, then a wicked wind/rain/hail/thunder/lightning storm passed through around dinner time,so probably a few more fires are burning now.supposeed to get another one. it's been hazy blue for so long we're used to it now.the local fires seem to be under some semblance of control,no choppers/water bombers around for the last few days,so that's good news.

It's too late this evening and I'm beat but I will update my build thread at some point. I was able to complete some projects between yesterday and today. I got the high lifter 2.5" lift installed, some wheel spacers, spare tire mount, and new whips. I still have some other stuff to finish but I will get to that next week maybe.

I did have a neat idea that I have not seen yet to do with the high lifter logo plate.

They always seem to want to do the one thing they know they can't. My boys are that way. Give a million options and they want the one that's out. Gotta love them! LOL 🤣

I finally got my recalls done at the dealer. Turns out there was a fuel pump impeller problem that I knew absolutely nothing about. All 3 completed in 45 minutes. Parking collar - no problem found. Power steering bolt - no problem found. Fuel pump replaced.

Recalls

Good idea. I did mine about year ago but just added a red pice of vinyl behind it. Now I have nothing left HighLifter but like the look so keeping it until I can get TTC one cut

Nice ride!! In the moment my first thought was vinyl. I bet it holds up better. I didn't have any access to vinyl at the time and the paint is the same I used on my beadlocks. It turned out pretty neat.

Yes looks great on yours too. Thinking about cutting it out and adding lights behind it when I get TTC one cut

What I did today/this week/this month, all condensed into one post...

Installed front & rear SATV control arms, Elka Stage 4 suspenders all around, RB3 1" rear spacers plus front/rear door bushings, SATV flip-up windshield, Alien Shade bimini top, extended all vent lines, Warn front bumper, EPS rear bumper, RC single row LED tied into HI beams, Rad Customs shifter cover, rear door storage mod and Seismic mirrors.

Other than that, not much…

What year is your machine? I have a 21 and did not plan on going back to the Dealer for regular maintenance. But, if there are issues that need to be looked at such as what is on your list, maybe I should take it in before warranty is over.

Believe none of these relate to the 21 model.
