Today:
Heard the complaints about "calf heat", and my short rides have confirmed this will be an issue. So I added some heat barrier today:

I plan to take care of the top with something under the seat.

Last week:
Got my tag mount set up, using my old 500 tag as a placeholder. Conduit and "L" brackets, with some Amazon LEDs:

Get you a roll of this for under the seat. I used to layers and left the backing on so it's not sticky. Some folks have been sticking 2 the layers together which works great too. Cut it to fit and pop holes for seatbelts and seat fittings. After a day or so it'll look like it's form fitted.

Beautiful pics. Its still hot down here lol season will show up either way.

Oh it's hellacious hot during the day, but the evenings have been getting down into the low 60s which make for a good ride. Supposed to be into the 90s most days this week

Have I mentioned I hate summer? Course it is still only August lol

My Pioneer has its first real work day. We lost our hunting lease so me, my 9 year old son , and father in law spent the day all around the 350 acres retrieving stands. Had to pull that little trailer loading with heavy stands through mud, over fallen trees, up and down hills. Couldn’t be happier with how it performed. In 4 wheel diff lock it’s a beast.

Hope you find something else that has some longevity. Hate that you lost the lease

Losing or leaving leases and clubs sucks. Gotta break it all down and then hopefully rebuild elsewhere. Unless you hunt monsters in the wilderness like LFTT does. Lol

HA..thx Flip. It still bites to lose a farm and we lose them a bunch, but yes as you know we have made a lifetime of monsters memories in the last 15 years chasing these nasty goats . Hopefully I actually kill sumn this season!!!!
