Searched and did not find a thread for this on talons...kinda getting an itch...anybody willing to share? Are we generally paying msrp yet or are dealers getting more hungry
If people vote Blue you will be and higher. Are we generally paying msrp yet or are dealers getting more hungry
Wait until they release the 2025 models and go shopping for a 2024 and play the "this dealer will sell it to me for xxx game between the ones that have what you want in stock. That's how I got my 2019 Talon R for $16,500 OTD.
If your playing those games we're gonna need to see a deal sheet 😂
Found a new 2022 leftover in Texas for $15000 the other day , but see 2024's around for $19 guess not sure if the updates on newer models = 4 grand? Have to ditch my pioneer too which is another game of how to price it with accessories.Wait until they release the 2025 models and go shopping for a 2024 and play the "this dealer will sell it to me for xxx game between the ones that have what you want in stock. Ask Classic Powersports how that worked out for them when I bought my KRX. They tried playing games with me on pricing so I called another dealer with the same unit and bought theirs for the OTD price I saw advertised that was well below Classics inflated OTD price. Classic called me twice a week after I bought it from the other dealer telling me I wasn't getting a better deal anywhere and that I needed to come in to fill out the paperwork before they changed their minds. Sales guy stopped calling after I sent him a picture of the new one sitting in my back yard. 🤣
Had my P1K5 in for service at HOF. Looking for '23 LV and hoping they didn't have one. They did, and gave me a phenomenal price on the first one they received. The dealer I purchased the P1K5 from wanted my underwear over and above their price and fees. Very funny when I told them I roll commando. We get so many guys in quoting other dealers who don't even have the unit the customer is looking for.
Without a deal sheet it's all just talk to us, it's happened quite a few times where the same guy runs around to everyone in our area. Come to find out the dealer he's quoting doesn't have any of that bike and is just throwing numbers around.

X2R or an X?
I got my 21’ X in March of 22’ for $17k
At least Honda makes it easy to check Inventory within a set range, a potential buyer can pull this up and know who has what they are looking for. Also maybe a motivation for offering a fair price if the particular model is in abundance. We get so many guys in quoting other dealers who don't even have the unit the customer is looking for.

Not sure about live valve or not...I am not savvy about suspension so live valve appeals but also have seen plenty of comments of issues with live valve
The newer 2023 and up LV got rid of the problem steering angle sensor.
The unit I've got in the shop right now is the first LV I've had with any issues outside of that particular sensor and it's under warranty.
Are the Fox LV shocks on the Talon internal bypass too or just LV?
I have an X2 non LVX2

I've spoken to George at Double E and plan to send mine off this winter for the works. I was told that some X2s have 2" front and 2.5" rear, or 2" on all 4 corners. As I understand, the X LV has 2.5" on all 4 corners. I need to check and see what configuration mine is runningI have an X2 non LV
LV is nice and have had some issues here and there. That said, with the X you can take the stock shock and do many things/upgrades to your liking ranging from very affordable to very expensive your choice. I started out with new springs and it made a marked difference, then took it from there. Wife approves and that helps justify the $$
