Newbie from Va. here. Just joined the Pioneer club after many years of working on my Polaris Ranger. I have a 2021 Pioneer 1000-3 which will be used mostly around the farm and hunting. Can you guys tell me what best option is for a gun rack? I've seen the overhead racks and m not keen on them? Others?? Thanks in advance, 163bc

The one I see in our deer lease is like this. The guys that bought them got them from Amazon and eBay.

anyone using this? seems simple and easy? Feedback??

That's the one I was going to buy but I went with the over head rack, to have the extra room in the cab. Thats probably you're best option if u can't wait on the RB3 one. I kinda doubted the overhead but after hauling a 10ga and 12ga together with no issues, im glad I went that way.

I've never used an over head gun rack but i cant get past the idea of the barrel pointed at me while getting in and out of my rig all day. Loaded or not makes me nervous.

Yep goes against every thing I was taught starting at age 10. Gives me the heby jebies to look down the barrel of a dismantled gun for cleaning.

I have the Seizmik on seat gun holder and love it. I have the overhead one installed but only used it twice before I got the Seizmik and just haven't bothered to take it out. Go Seizmik.

I wasn't happy with what was available, so I made a custom rack using a Setina electric gun lock and but cuff (available from most police equipment supply places). The dash switch powers the circuit and then a hidden pushbutton unlocks the claw for 5 seconds. Been using it for 4 years now and it works like a champ.

personally I like the barrel pointing up. All cop cars have barrels pointing up ( at least the ones I drove) for some reason or another.

A friend gave me the Big Sky overhead gun rack from his Landcruiser. Big Sky carries adapters to go around the roll cage without drilling. It’s been on several chukar hunts in nasty rugged terrain and the guns never budged. It’s fully adjustable with an allen wrench for individual guns.
