In 18 months the truck will pay for itself and a replacement hauling like that. I have had zero issues with two 6.7L Super Duty a 2011 F350 and the 2015 F450. I was actually just in to get new tires on my 2015 they last about 140k miles, the dealer had that 2017 F450 Platinum on the lot had just arrived 2 days prior. I asked what kind of trade would I be looking at. When they offered to trade offering me 8k more for my truck than expected and still discounted the new truck considerably I decided to pull the trigger. The 2017 get about 2mpg better than the previous models, that's a lot when you burn 1300 gal of diesel a month.Just out of curiosity why did you trade? I would think that when you put that many miles on it would kill your trade value. Heck your going to be out of warranty in 5 months.
One of my riding buddies has thought about taking ramps while riding to keep from stacking rocks to get over thingsThat's what I need!! My straight ramps require me to unhook the trailer. Its a royal pain.
Know what you mean about wifes, we have been through a lot of rough miles together, not self inflicted, just life. Great to have some one that has your back!I drive a little 96 Tacoma 4x4 for my commuter truck which is a little over a 100 miles a day. She just hit 347 thousand the other day and runs just as good as when I got her. 1 fuel pump, 1 clutch, 2 starters, a few carrier bearings, and a few set of tires is about it. All I do is put gas in it every 3 day and change the oil every 5000. I can vouch for Pennzoil. This is the best thing I've owned including my wife. It's okay she doesn't get on here to see what I say about her.
At 15 mpg thats 19,500 miles a month, what do you do? You ever wear out wind shields? HA!In 18 months the truck will pay for itself and a replacement hauling like that.
