We got 9.5 mpg towing to Pickett state park and back. I'm real happy and surprised with that.

Here's my rig. 2013 F150 Lariat Crewcab 4x4, Echo trailer with HD axle.

And my trailer tag... (wife nicknamed out Talon, "Tally") Oklahoma doesn't require a trailer tag for this weight of trailer, so I was free to create one of my own.

The truck pulls this trailer fine, but I'd prefer a 3/4 or 1 ton, allowing me to upgrade to a 5th wheel toyhauler. Sadly, neither a new truck or toyhauler are within the means of this retiree's budget.

Well the faithful F 150 was about to give it up i am a loyal Ford man and still have my flatbed F 550 but i bought a GMC yesterday it has everything but leather and it is the Canyon with a v6 and 4x4 everything I buy is 4 wheel drive.it should pull the 700 just fine 308 h.p with a 7000 lbs tow rating plus I made them a ridiculous offer they took so I can get out of it if I don't like it. I needed a good traveling truck for work. It's the first GM product I have ever bought.

l hope it works out well it drives great . If not I know where the Ford dealer is.

Haha, I meant about the Chevy...I got suckered in with low price but like you said, I got out of it more than what I owed on it when I off-loaded it.

We're looking to upgrade from our current travel trailer to a fifth wheel toy hauler in the future and wanted something to pull large and heavy with no worries.

my 2nd 3.5eb and they are incredible this one i out on timbrens with a load leveling hitch with sway controllers and i was blown away pulled 10k like it wasnt there and absolutely 0 trailer sway or light steering
