What size hi lift jack should I choose?

I'd want that axe to be very secure indeed. Nothing like waiting for the axe to fall!

I initially planned to put the 48" Hi-Lift up on the rear roll bar, but then decided it would be too much hassle, at my age, to get on and off. That, and I'll need to use it every time I load the tandem tilt bed trailer without ramps. So the jack needed to be convenient.

I considered the 42" Hi-Lift, the additional 6" on the 48" doesn't add significant weight, so figured the longer version might come in handy.

Always best to keep heavy things low to keep the center of gravity low.
