I am looking at the 36",42", & 60" hi lift utility jacks. In people's experience, what size has worked and what size has not? Does anyone have any other brand recommendations?
My machine is a pioneer 1000-5, I plan on mounting it to the ROPS hopefully on the inside of the cab in the roof area.
Thank You!

Meh...

I'd say if you're riding alone maybe it's good to have one.
Or maybe out west where there are no trees.

Otherwise, it's unneeded weight.

My wife and I are planning our trip to Michigan again this year and we like the security of knowing we can be alone and be ok to take risks. The hope for this year is to upgrade our recovery equipment. I want a nicer winch, a decent shovel, and a jack to lift it if needed. I like the bumper idea. I had not thought about that.

I’m with the boss man on this one.

I carry extra winch line, some shackles, straps, and folding shovel and that’s it.

even with limited or no trees you can still tie off to a fence post base, big rock, stump etc to pull your pioneer on its side if you have enough line.

Even if you have nothing at all, you can run on the rim, or wedge rocks or logs under the A-arm and dig a hole to change the tire out from (provided you locked it into 4wd).

Thank you all for your information. I got the answers I was looking for. My main hope was to not wind up with something totally useless. I went with the hi lift 42 UTV

The mounts I chose were the hi lift

I have an idea to get the jack above my head and out towards the bed area.
I also purchased kolpin 1.5 strap mounts to put a shovel on the very rear top ROP.

I ended up using the high lifter 42" UTV jack. Rated same as their vehicle Jack's. I assume the only thing that makes it UTV is 42" length. I used some jeep mounts and hung it on the ROPS above the head.

I have the shovel mounted on the rear with the kolpin strap mounts. I had to use some rubber wedges from the nilight mounts I had left over to make it solid. Otherwise it works great. I tucked an axe up in the roofline as well. There is a bolt with thumb screw on the rear holding the axe up there and then it basically sits very well by itself. The axe is very solid up there.

Pics required once you get it all installed.
I got some pictures posted but I want to go into more detail at some point for my installation thru my build thread. I just need time to sit and do that at some point. I tried to throw up some pictures and links and make some replies but my internet is being weird and keeps acting like stuff isn't posting properly. After multiple edits I think I finally got the majority of it posted on here.
