have a full size Kimber 1911 and absolutely love it. Also like the magazine capacity of my Glock 41 45 but the Kimber is much more accurate or at least easier to shoot with that crisp single action trigger. However I have much less of an issue abusing my plastic Glock than the Kimber,

My favorites are Beretta P 45 and a Ruger 357 mag Security Six, the revolver is my favorite in a panic situation, I shoot lights out with both of them, but the revolver is a no mess no fuss. I've got a S & W 9mm, that I have to aim low and left, the 45 and the 357 just point. I have small hands, could be the issue. I'm going to sell the 9 mm, just don't like small cal pistols. And I have a Colt single action Frontier Scout 22 cal. thats deadly , Been offered a lot of money for that. Shot a Aramidllo, 4 foot of the ground in a quick draw that the pups flushed out of the flower bed. I surprised my self. HA!

I carry a Colt 1911. I own several others but this one always wins!

I don't understand why they have a 6 round cylinder, you only get to shoot it one time!
You bring up a very good point Chooglin but I have seen some guys shoot that would still probably require the additional rounds.

Depends on the situation...
Top is a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag - best for an open carry leg holster, but it packs a hell of a punch, and looks great with boots and a cowboy hat, Kinda like a peacemaker on steroids.
Middle is one of my favorites - Walther PPS in 9 x 19 mm - What can I say, always been a fan of Walther.
Bottom is a Taurus Judge (not an EDC, but nice on the P5) - .45LC and .410ga. Got it mainly as a "just in case" option for snakes.
