That’s essentially what I’m doing, what backspacing did you go with?
1" RB3. Haven't got them yet to comment.
I also had a square tire or two but more riding takes that out. I also adjusted pressure and torqued beadlock. Pretty satisfied, although they run shorter height than spec'd out.

Haven't had them out to really test, yet.

Is there anything specific I need to do if I go from 12 inch to 14 inch tires? Bought a set of new take- offs for my 1000-3 and mine has 12's and the new ones are 14's.

I like the 12" wheels. In fact, that's one reason I bought the base model. Not enough difference between the base and the deluxe, just stuff you don't real need. More tire gives you more cushion for the pushin. The big time off roaders always have a lot of sidewall on they're tires. More tire sidewall equals better ride on rought terrain. Tall tires rob power. I had plenty of 4x4's with larger tires. You always lose power unless you start changing many other things. Not to mention wear on transmission and clutches.

If they're Honda Pioneer take offs, they should bolt right up.
27x11x14 rear, 27x9x14 front

Exactly, I stayed with 12inch. 27x9x12 all the way around with a spare.
