I’m looking at the MSA M31 wheels, they come in 4+3.

What stance do you suppose this would give me compared to stock?
I’m assuming I’d need to run 1” spacers on the rear...

I would go with 3.5+3.5 for future mods

This would give me stock width? Or would I still need a 1” spacer in rear?

Any wheel change you do other than factory offsets will make you wider. Spacers in the Rears are needed to fix the front to back differences. In the beginning I went without spacers. The 3.5 offset will make you at least 67”.

With 4+3s on all 4 corners you will need 1” spacers in the rear to balance track with fronts. Note that factory with is slightly narrower in the rear.
Yep! If you don't want spacers run 6+1 front and 5+2 rear, now your back to factory spec's.

Bringing this bad boy back from the dead I know, forgive me...

If you want to go with a stock width 9 inch tire in front and 11 inch in rear, would I be looking closer to even with 5+2 on both the front and rear? It looks like most guys are running 10 inch tires all the way around and the general consensus is 1inch spacers in the rear will even it out....

Does math work?

1" spacer is perfect with the same wheel and 10" wide tires on all 4 corners.

I'm running 28x10s with 5+2 bead locks and a 1" spacer in the rear

Thanks @ToddACimer

I think that confirms that front 9/rear 11 should be pretty darn close with the 5+2 all the way around.

What wheels are those? Looks like a black base with a little machined accent, I like it!

Raceline Ryno. They are 14x7 wheels. They are gun metal finish with black rock rings

The only complaint I had with 9" front tires is they don't protect the wheels. My front wheels got torn up before I made the switch to bead locks. Likewise a 10" wide tire on the stock rear wheels wasn't a great fit, the tire side walls get beat up without a strong bulge. Overall the 14x7 wheels are a much better fit than either stock wheel with a 10" tire

I don't know how consistent Honda isover time with the size of wheels that they ship, but with my 2016 P1k-5D, the aluminum wheels were
14x6.5 in front, with "4.5 + 2" offset, and 14x8 in the rear with "5.5 + 2.5" offset, give or take a tenth of an inch or two.

When I put 10" actual-width tires on 5+2 rims in front, no spacers, I get 64" wide to the outside of the tires, top to bottom, with a healthy spring pre-load.

Outside-to-outside tire measurements are susceptible to suspension loading, particularly if you measure at the ground. At-ground
measurement of rear tires in pic are 66" top and 63" bottom, with 10" actual-width tires on [edit: 5.5 + 2.5 (factory)] rims, nospacers.
(I originally posted "5 + 3" for the rears.)

With redone, taller P1K-5’s why wouldn’t you WANT to spread the width out a bit? I would like 15” rims with true 30” tall tires maybe 11” width all around with rim protection, gnarly sharp shale rock-ability plus able to do aggressive mud pits..
Is this a pipe dream or what do I need?

Presently I have a stock 12” steel front wheel and stock tire as my spare.. Would love to figure out the right combo to get 5 identical wheels and tires...

Hi everyone, can someone explain the numbers me?

5+2, 4+3, etc
And
4/136, 4/137

Please?

For offset on a 7" wide wheel there are 6+1, 5+2, 4+3 as the most common dimensions. A 6+1 for example is 1" from the outside edge giving the narrowest width vs. 4+3 being 3" from outside edge giving the widest width. Factory offset wheels are approximately 30mm front and 50mm rear with 26mm = 1" so typically 5+2 is closest to OEM specs.

4x136 / 4x137 means its 4 bolts spaced 136 or 137 mm center to center across, while not exact they are interchangeable for Honda P1K & Talon models.

Note if using all same offset wheels the rear will be about 2" narrower overall, most use 1" spacers in rear to make wheel track match up front to rear. This is because of the 30mm front to 50mm rear OEM offset differences.

Polaris is the same way, but they build the spacers into the stock wheels, thus you can't swap rear to front without rubbing, we found this out while on a ride with @Captian Jack.

Ok, thanks so much. I'm told by dealer that canak and pioneer are 1mm apart as far as stud distance, and it doesnt matter. Thoughts? Or should I visit another thread or make new one.

It doesn't matter if it is 4x136 or 4x137 both will fit. Just be sure to use at least a 15" diameter wheel to ensure proper clearance of brake and suspension components.
