So my wife tells me the Big red speedometer is going faster then the sxs Some times it will not even move. I had an issue with low oil before and low oil pressure means no gogo. I checked the oil while was she complaining and no oil on stick.?. Let it sit a few minutes and I started it to get it back the gargage. Parked it , get back to that later. . Next day checked oil Full to the line. So where is the oil going or plugged somewhere , slow to return to the bottom. ??Change oil and filter in Nov. Its a farm sxs so driven most days but not far or hard.

Are you warming it up to check the oil when you change it?

You should fill the oil to the top line, start and idle for 3-5 minutes then shut off and wait 2-3 minutes before checking level.

Don't screw the dipstick in, just set it in.

Changed the oil in Nov this issue just started in the last couple weeks,. Yes engine was warmed up prior to changing oil. and yes engine was run for a couple minutes after change to check level. No i screwed the cover on when I read the level.

There's your issue then, never screw the dipstick in on any Honda product to check the oil.

So I check oil on the cold engine with plug in was at correct mark.
Unscrewed and checked was just touching the stick.
Added about a litre to read good not screwed in . Working good for me . Have the boss verify later if its ok.
Thanks.
