So I got a great deal on a used Denali standard plow and I see in the store for the Denali mount for a 700-4 it states it does not work with a WARN or KFI Winch mount.

What winch mounts have people successfully used with a Denali plow and how was it to install?

Thanks!

Phil

I have a Denali 66-inch plow and a superwinch on my 500. No interferences, but I do not know about the issues with WARN or KFI winch mounts. I ordered a universal winch mount on amazon, worked OK for the superwinch, bought in 2020.

I read recommendations for these items on this forum, worked out great for me.

Hi thanks, I do think the front end of the 500 is different than the 700 so may not be apples to apples but thanks! ~ Phil

Hi I am ordering this plow mount, what I am asking about is what winch mount you used. Says about the MA11718 mount that it does not work with the WARN or KFI Winch mounts.

Thanks Phil

I’m sorry I misread that.

sorry about that. I have to check, but I believe I am using the kFI mount. But things may have changed since 2014. I use a viper winch and love it.

Ok after looking at my ride I do have the kFI mount. And there is no way I can see it even being close to interfering with the plow or plow mount

I have been told this has been revised and may now fit.

Reviewing these pics.
I also say the Denali snow plow mount will fit the KFI winch mount.
I see no interfere.

Hi guys thanks so looks like the KFI will work fine then. I do wish they mounted the winch higher but maybe its to prevent interference issues with the bars it mounts to.

THank You

So any thoughts on this one? it appears it mounts the winch higher up, doesnt look as rugged but I only intend to use the winch for plowing, the UTV is a tool for us for hauling wood and plowing in the winter, will rarely be used to trail ride (when grand kids get older) and I would only stay on the tote road trails so not expecting to be getting stuck.

Im just thinking having the winch higher up will be better for lifting the plow.

Thanks PHil

I don't think it much matters, mine will lift the plow clear up in the path of the headlights, probably 3 feet off the ground.
