Cracker Barrel for us. Two breast and the fixings. Wife needed a break and it's really good.I wanted to smoke one this year, but family gatherings will not allow that to happen.
So.. Are you frying a turkey?
Let's see what you got.
Bonus points for a pic of your fryer/turkey AND your Pioneer!

This is my first time trying it and what I read said 30 minute per pound at 225. At least the main one is in the oven so even if I screw it up the day won’t be ruined. What is the general rule for temp & time to smoke a whole turkey?
Thanks @denone 👍🏼This is my first time trying it and what I read said 30 minute per pound at 225. At least the main one is in the oven so even if I screw it up the day won’t be ruined.
16lb about 6hrs @ 240 degrees. A little higher temp helps the skin stay a little crispier. 165 degrees in the thickest part, generally the breast. A good thermometer is your best friend. I spatchcocked it first. Cooks quicker that way. A smaller turkey is better for smoking. What is the general rule for temp & time to smoke a whole turkey?
