Thank you. A good camera does help, but knowing how to use it helps much more. I shoot with a Sony a9 mirrorless camera and a 200-600mm zoom lens.

Not wildlife, but saw this guy wandering across my patio the other day. Haven't seen one in a while and he was pretty good size

Nice catch. I saw an enormous brown one a few months ago (I think the brown ones are female). It was sitting in the middle of the road--so large in fact, that I had to stop the car, get out and photograph it. I'd post a pic of it here, but didn't want to look like I was showing you up.

I had another incredible encounter with a Short-eared Owl again last Tuesday. This 30 second encounter was worth the 90 minute wait.
