I mounted the Honda (warn ) winch, wired it up, checked in out runs fine but will not pull the SXS on level ground. Found the winch pulls the voltage way down in the 5-6 volt range?

I have the same winch. You have to keep on the gas to get the power out of it and then it is still hard on the factory battery. I used mine to pull myself out of 8 inches of mud and water up to seat a few weekends ago. Personally I am looking at going with a regular battery to help handle to load a bit better.

I killed my factory battery winching, WITH the engine running.

They draw upwards of 300amps when they're really pulling. So around 3500-4000 watts

What's the winch rated for? all winches are rated with only 1 wrap of line on the drum and so with every wrap of line you lose a huge amount of pulling power. Bigger winch ? or get some snatch blocks and double or triple your line. I know it's a pain but at least you can pull yourself out.
