So I picked up my winch and plow yesterday. I started putting the plow together, and I noticed some discrepancy in the push tube instructions. Namely, the pulley assembly toward the rear. It instructions show a single pulley with a pin through it, but the only pulley that came with it was much smaller and in a bracket of its own. Anyone else run it this?

Could be why they have not posted the instructions on line yet!

I think we got it figured out. Everything has been installed for a few days now. I'll try to remember to post some pictures later today.

One more of everything for good measure.

After I got everything together I can see the design behind the odd piece, it would have just been nice if they would have documented it. The idea is that this piece can be "easily" removed to run the winch cable through, but it was a bit of an adventure to figure out how it went together.

Thanks chops. I do not have a use for a plow so I'll never really see one. But good to know how they mount on and all.

Will that type warn winch work?? That type is one I have and everytime you reverse direction you have to manually turn the knob on end?? Seems to me you'd need one that will work with up/down switch on dash......

Not sure your question.

Your kit should work with the winch in/out (or up/down) button. If not, something it wrong. You should not have to turn the red knob (free spool) on the end of the winch at all.

I would hazard a guess that he has a bad connection somewhere between his switch and contactor.
Like @Hondasxs said, there is absolutely no reason to have to free spool the winch to let line out. Bad connection somewhere.
