P1000m5 Winching techniques

I’m lookin at finally buying a winch. One thing I would like it to do is allow me to flip my pioneer over if I flip on the side. So my question is can a bumper mounted winch be used with snatch blocks to flip over from the side or would a hand help winch work better. Thanks for your input.

Yep a bumper winch with a snatch block could definitely do the trick. That would be my preference...

So I would think I would need 2 snatch blocks right? Does this work flipping sxs over?

Either will work a bumper mount would be better just have a couple tree savers a snatch block a couple shackles

2 would be better but depends on how your rolled over and proximity of trees

Yep that would do it! Like mentioned above keep a couple of tree savers and shackles. Also go ahead and get you an extra winch cable for a spare. If you haven't already switch over to synthetic rope.

I've got the Superwinch Terra 45,. The thing has been a tank. I've put it through the ringer and it keeps going strong...

Do what you want i would say get a bigger winch I have a 5k better to have bigger i have a tractor supply wiinch been awsome and seem to use it alot

Remember the 3500lb rating is on the first layer if you’re on layer 4-5 you may only get 1000lbs of pull from a 4500lb.
