P500 WINDOW TINTING FILM TINT

I plan on applying some to the top 6-10 inch's of a Super ATV full flip windshield. The cost of Sun Visors is just ridiculous ....(in my opinion)...

I'm sure it's been used before, would love to here your feed back whether you used it or not.

helps some.

Are you able to recall the shade % that you used....I thought I'd start out with 35%....can't beat the price if it's to light or to dark.

Solid...Black...
not a fix ..all
Helps some...does not
fair well...to sun.
My 2nd application. ..1st
one lasted 2 yrs..got brittle
so replaced..

I’m 20% on entire windshield and side windows but there has to be a lot of light. For just a stripe on upper windshield I’d think 35 would be perfect

Not going to last on plexi or plastic very long until it looks like crap.. I tinted my half shield even after reading that plastic puts off some gas when heated and that it wouldn't take very well. Looked a little bubbly at first and a lot bubbly in 6 months. Ended up taking it off and going with a perforated type film like you see on city bus's. Holding up much better than the tint.

You are right about that and good call. It’s called a release agent that’s in plastics to release it from the mold but lexan does have less then some. Heating up the plastic and whiping the area with alcohol then window cleaner will help dramatically.

You are correct. I think you told me that when i went to put the red tint on the clear plexi inside of my roof where it says 'Gettin' Tipsy' Within a week or 2 it was bubbling up just like you said.

I have a 3 pc windshield , took the top pc to local trim shop and had him limo tint it . Been on a year . no issues, love it .
