I have the hardcoat super atv windshield and it works great. No issues with it scratching. Just read the instructions on proper cleaning of it, which basically say no windex or harsh cleaners. I spray mine with water to wash off most of the dirt and sand. Then just grab a wet dish rag out of the kitchen sink with dish detergent and lightly wipe it. Then rinse with water. Let it drain for a couple minutes and then lightly dry with cloth. Its about as easy as it gets.

It trailers fine with it closed too. I'm not sure why people speculate that this windshield won't work for them. You'll find hundreds of positive online posts on the super atv windshield and imo, you won't find one better that flips open. Don't get the honda flip open windshield. It only opens a couple of inches and is way too hot in summer. I did the research and I couldn't find one better.

I have a light bar on my roof. How would the flip up window work with a light bar on and the window up. No doubt it's an Isis window out there

Trailering a plastic windshield in the summer and trailering it on a 10F day with sand on the hwy is a completely different animal.

Bought my 2016 with glass windshield and wiper, much dust coming in from the back on most rides, after consuming a little to much alcohol and using the windshield to stop my face after a jump up a sand wash bank i replaced with the 2 piece, have not regretted the decision as can open top and the air coming through keeps the dust out

I am also thinking of replacing my Honda flip up windshield after 4 + years only due to the fact I need more air. It has been a good windshield but Honda failed by only making the top piece with hard coat and leaving the bottom soft. The top has held up well resisting scratches even with my manual wiper witch I only use in rain or snow. Super ATV is the one I am looking at also but the trailering over 60 MPH bothers me a little.

Don't worry about the 60mph disclaimer for the SATV. Just latch the windshield closed and head out. I've trailered mine at 75-80 for 7-8 hours with no issue.

Yes, that is true. If I trailer mine in winter, I let the roads dry off after they've been sanded and salted. I'm sure some sand and salt still hits the machine, and I've not had any issues, but I trailer in winter as little as possible.

I didn't even think about it trailering my SATV windshield (closed) up to 75 mph so far no problem.

Why do you think you have to take it off for trailering? If I remeber there instructions say to full close it.

If you actually like at Honda accessory page it says you should take the roof off during open trailering too.

My really like my SATV flip up windshield. I actually just finished installing the WFO adjuster to it. Cliff makes a beautifully machined part.

Can you advise what the WFO adjustor is??

I think I have talked myself into a full windshield, but need one that flips up or down. I will have a factory hard top. What’s the best option? I found the superatv and do like it. But don’t really want to take it off when trailering. What y’all think?
I have the Honda two piece hardcoated Lexan windshield and a hard top. I was new to Side by Side riding and was astounded at how much dust is sucked into the machine with the windshield closed up. Of course, as noted, the Honda only opens about 6 inches and still dusty. So in the summer, I remove the top part. The lower part has a curl that deflects the wind up so it is comfortable while riding fast and minimal dust drawn in.
