I ordered the pigtail aux connector for the backup alarm connector to run a single auto backup LED light. I'm going to run about 9 feet to the top of the ROPS. Which gauge wire would suffice?

Thanks

18 or 16 is fine.

I don't recommend a light with a draw of more than 5 amps.

Online charts are usually based on a <2% expected drop.
Many automotive applications find a 5% or more voltage drop to be more common.
Changing it to a 5% drop will result in 18g being good for 18 feet at 12v
