Wiring winch

Where to wire the winch to? Fuse box or straight to battery?

I've read another post that explains how to connect to the fuse box and be switched with the ignition, but can you pull 180 amps through there?

I would wire straight to the battery to the contactor which is a high amp reversing relay. I don't know that you will find a 200amp circuit breaker. You will want to wire the power feed for the in/out switch to a ignition switched power source.

Unless you adding a second fuse box that can handle the load which by the way, should be wired off the battery!
