No they have around 8 trails, some smooth, some rocky and some fairly steep trails. They are rated from easy to very difficult but no issues on any of them. We were driving too fast on the trails and l only stopped to take pictures of the flat ones I guess. A lot of the pictures are forest roads going to a trail. Good catch. It’s just a good day or two riding area to have some fun. Noticed your picture, my father was an La. State Police Troop D Commander years ago.

How many years ago? Probably did not know him since on opposite sides of state, but my have heard the name, if you don't mind? I was at Troop L 1971-2004.

Is that house photo where y'all stayed? If so, did you rent it, where is it at, and did it have ride-out access to the trails? We have been to Mena a few times.

Yes it was. Cabin Rentals Near Mena, AR: Stonehill Cottages At Bethesda Lake We enjoyed the place. Very nice amenities. It’s a ride of about 11 miles to the south trail head on Forest roads. 2 of the other houses had ATV riders staying there also. But we decided not to visit with them, just waved.

We probably saw about 8 to 10 Talons In small groups. If they were there we missed them. Lots of other brands riding

We stayed at the same place last July. It was very nice. I think we put about 200 miles on in two days.

Yep, that’s the one. The driveways and entrance road is now paved with asphalt.

Our first trip from south Louisiana to mena in 1998 was a blast! Those “steep section, skilled riders only” signs put a smile on our faces!!! We rode trail 8 to hawks overlook forward and backward several times!!

Trails are no longer like that though. Nearly every trail has been converted to unpaved interstate highway. Not the challenge it once was. In fact boring last time we went. Fourche Mountain is more fun now in Mena but last year we chose Mount Magazine. That was fun! Supposed to be there next week with 14 machines but Corona cancelled.

Sorry I just noticed this reply. We had a blast at mount magazine last year. I’d say trails are medium difficulty but very fun. Mill creek is more challenging. Especially the shortcut trails.

My favorite trails are 3 & 313. Last trip in 2017 that was still fun.

How many miles of trails would you say are at Mount Magazine? We went there last year but had an accident due to stuck accelerator on our 1000-5 that took us out of commission for the rest of the stay. We had only ridden half a day maybe. I ask because the maps that are generally available don't always show ALL the trails.

We rode 57 miles first day and 48 miles the second day. Didn’t get started till about 10 am each day. First day we didn’t repeat any trails. Second day we repeated some. But that wasn’t all the trail miles on the MVUM. I can’t wait to go back and hit some other trails.

1662 was fast and fun!!

we didn’t find a bad trail! The creek water was too high and fast to cross so we ended up riding east side one day and west side the second day.
