My first trip to CO last year, I had an absolute blast! The trails aren't difficult unless you follow @JACKEL, The vista's are breath taking, saw a lot of mines, some vertical with tailing piles very large, no telling how deep the mines were, most where in the sides of mountains that I saw, you could tell the difference between a privater and commercial mines. I couldn't get that dang Richard to drive, lucky we weren't killed, by me gawking around at the vista's. We all survived!Its for sale...

This will be year 5 for us and being there hasn't gotten old yet. Yes we know the trails now and it won't ever be like the first time again, but it is my zen that I start looking forward to as soon as we start for home.seeing those pics I wish I was there now.
If it were closer, we'd be there all the time and it would lose that special feeling it brings as soon as we hit the trails each summer.

Excellent bug out location. Far from populated areas, high in elevation and underground security. I’d go there real quick.

This was one of my favorite sites. I constantly want to make another Colorado trip. Colorado and the TO are big trips for me and can only do one a year. Now after TO last year it’s a decision struggle.

Yep! Been to the TO several times, I like Tacket Creek and would like to ride there and Windrock some more. The roads / trails in CO are mostly boring, but the Vista's and mines fascinate me. I may try to find a group to tagalong with the early fall and catch some MOM rides.

I just found out the price for Golconda mine. It’s just shy of a measly 10 million dollars….heck I wipe my behind will that much money. Especially if ole Joe bidet’s picture is on it.
