Those door panels look like something that is going to get tore off on the trail?

If it was easily torn off, I would have lost all of them by now. The group we ride with has been laid over on our sides many times and we gouge them but not tear them off.

Now with the new hinged door panel mod, they may be a little weaker but it will still be tough enough to take a hit.

I agree, there pretty tuff. We scrape the heck out of them on our trails with cedar branches. Never was a thought of tearing them off. I was more worried about my wips more than anything.

Here’s the 2 rubber bags I bought. There thick rubber. They also fold down and snap with a clip. I use a larger one when I’m waterfowl hunting. These are 2L&5L will see how it works when I get the doors done. I see more of the 2L ones in my future. There adorable!:p

My latches are in Cincinnati and expected on Monday so I would say customs were not a problem.

I ordered a couple dry bags to try as well...got a 10 liter and a 20 liter. I think the 10 will fir in the door..but the 20 will be good to put stuff in and throw in the bed.

I double wrapped what I wanted to stay clean and dry ( mostly the wife's toilet paper) in plastic bags. Figured I would try this before I spent a bunch of money on bags. I have overhead storage in the stereo unit to keep jackets, smalls and most snacks she takes.

Let me know when you feel up to 10 how it fits in the door I’m curious to know. If it’s not too bad I may buy a couple of those also. I bought the 5 L just let me know when you fill up that 10 how it fits in the door I’m curious to know. If it’s not too bad I may buy a couple of those also. I bought the 5 L Because I wasn’t so sure what would fit through that hole.

10 might fill the whole thing and allow for sealing outside the cutout???

I finished mine yesterday when the fasteners arrived. I did the hinge on passenger side, but took @JTW idea and only used the fasteners on the drivers side. The panel can be removed with only 1" of clearance vs the hinge space. It seems like I always drop the drivers side down or into things so this allows better access for me.
