So my thought is with 15"or 16" wheels offset in how narrow can the talon be made .The suspension would be great but do want something that wide .Thoughts

I do believe I read that the OEM wheel offset is 30mm front and 50mm rear, that is with 6" wheel width front and 8" wheel width rear.

Of available aftermarket options, most typical offerings are 7" wide wheels, and a rare few (STI wheels like HD3) offer a 6"+1" offset, that 1" - 26mm (close approximation) the typical popular offsets are 5+2 & 4+3.

So best case scenario if using OEM width tires you might only narrow the front end by 1/2" overall and narrow the rear by 2.25".

If you add wider tires such as 30x10x15 etc. you will actually get wider that 68.5" not narrower.

That's kind of what I thought 6+1 is tough to come by .I was thinking 31x10.5 Baja claws. The trials I ride factory probably to wide be awhile anyway. With a broken hand lots of time to dream

If you put that size tire on the front, it could be as much as 2" wider overall than OEM. Likely only 1" wider overall with 6+1 offset wheels.

What wheel offset and tire size? My P1K was 64" on front with 28x10x14 Roctanes on 6+1 STI HD3 rims, rear was only 62" with that setup too.

Well that's about as close as you can get, 30mm being just over 1 1/8" offset.
Pretty much forgot what they were had to go back and look :)
