For those that have put pre '23 a-arms on a 2023 1000R, did you change axles or are you using the factory ones? Working on replacing factory a-arms with pre '23 to allow 33" or larger tires, 2023 1000R Live Valve, 2 seater.

How much do you want for the stock 2023 arms? I want to do the opposite of you with my race car and shrink the WB to 23 specs. PM me if you want to work out a deal.

I hear all you have to do is change the arms. The tie rods and axles are the same.

Since it appears no one on here has done this, I can confirm the older arms do work and nothing else needs to be changed. Installed 1000R arms from a 2021 model (in blue, not same blue as 2023, but close), adjusted tie rods and recentered steering so Live Valve system is happy. I've now been on two trips around 80 miles and zero issues with Live Valve system or anything else. I'm running 33's and there are no issues with clearance, even at full lock and suspension compressed. May need steering stops if running 35's to keep from rubbing at full lock, but not 100% sure. Not 100% sure what offset my machine has (5+2 I think, Raceline wheels), but measures 72.5" to outside of tires. Hope this helps someone!

I would also be interested in the 23 r4 front arms, would like them to build a jig.

I plan to keep them for now to make sure I don't have any issues. 80 miles is not enough for me to feel 100% confident it's all good. When I do decide, @SLOWPOKE693 will have first shot and if he does not want them I'll let you know. I should know within a month or so.

If @SLOWPOKE693 doesn't mind maybe I can rent them from him before he installs them.on his race car.

It sounds like Tramguage only wants them long enough to make a jig. Maybe he can use them while you're deciding?

Your call, obviously, I'm just being a meddling innerweb Nancy.

fwiw: Tram is an upstanding site member deeply involved in site activities; those arms will be safe in his custody.

OK, I'll go mind my own bidness, now. :p

I worked out a deal with another member here and will be swapping him my spare 19 R arms for his 2024 R4 takeoffs so if sombody else needs yours they can have them. Thanks for the offer though!!

@Tramguage1 Are you thinking about making jigs for these or just want to try some before ordering your own?

Once I put ball joints and bushings in the set I'm getting I plan on pulling the shocks and cycling the hell out of the suspension and steering to make sure the CV plunge is good and to make sure bump steer doesn't get out of hand. I want to put my car back together 100% race ready with the stock arms and throw it on the scales to see where my front to rear percentages are and then swap the new arms on and reweigh it to see what difference it makes.

No want to make a jig, I have a 23 R4, but both my front a arms are slightly tweeked already. Would like a fresh OEM set to build the jig. Then do some testing to build an arched set.

My new set of R4 arms were delivered yesterday!

I don't think these could be any newer. The member here that sent me these said they were on the machine for no more than a mile before they were swapped out for SATV Talon R arms for tire clearance and it shows. They are mint! I'm going to need to order ball joints and bushings, and get the car finished up before I get these on so it may be a few weeks.

@Tramguage1, how long do you think you would need these if I sent them to you to jig up?

I just had cataract and lenses replacement surgery on my right eye on 3/29. I am scheduled to do the left eye on 4/5, so it could be a month or two before I'm up to 100%. Please don't wait on me.
Are the lower arms flat from bushing to ballpoint hole?
